God of War Review Round-Up: Step Aside Aloy, Kratos is Back

Sony is already preparing for one of their biggest years yet. While they are indeed the publisher of several of the PlayStation 4’s powerhouse titles to be landing on their console this year, developers like Sony Santa Monica have had their work cut out for them in order to ensure that they keep up with Sony’s growing standards in what a game should be. After all, they’ve already been absolutely dominating this generation with the likes of Killzone: Shadowfall (albeit it was the weakest in the Killzone franchise), Horizon Zero DawnKnack, and even their biggest hit that has yet to release to the general public: God of War.

Detroit: Become Human to Release May 25

As our year quickly gets underway, so does the amount of astonishing video games we get to experience. So far, 2018 has already been a strong year for Sony Interactive Entertainment and their partnered studios. As a part of their commitment to bringing out some of their strongest games and even a recently announced restructuring of their company, Sony Interactive Entertainment and David Cage’s studio, Quantic Dream, have given us a release date for their upcoming title Detroit: Become Human.

Review: Shadow of the Colossus – A Masterful Remake

Pros:
+Possibly one of the most artistically impressive games in the history of gaming
+A true remake of a timeless classic
+The melancholic atmosphere returns, but brighter and more vibrant than ever before
+All actions players make matter

Cons:
-Troublesome camera angles make a slightly irritating return


Were you to be given the task to explain to someone how playing video games is time well spent and how they possess the potential or equivalence as artistic masterpieces what games would you mention? For me, that list is extremely small due to how far gaming has come in the past fifteen years.
