Fortnite Tips and Tricks: 6 Essential Tips You Need to Survive the Storm With

With many years of eager anticipation, the day has finally come that we’ve gotten our hands on Fortnite by legendary developer and publisher Epic Games. The game, as you can imagine, has been in the making for many years, and for a while it even managed to fall into obscurity, which lead many to thinking it was cancelled. As of Tuesday, that’s not the case as many have been grinding out countless hours, and have managed to mow down countless swarms of zombies.

There’s no doubt I have, I’ve had quite a bit of fun doing it, and for breaks, I farmed for materials as well as countless resources. I’ve even managed to gather schematics, recruit a few pals, and cause a bit of mayhem with the lads. If you wonder where my progress spend, there’s no doubt that this rather playful and cartoonish co-op based tower defense meets base-building shooter has dragged me in and not let me escape. Without further ado, lets enter Blast Away the Game Review to be a news publisher that decided to kick-in the games metaphorical doors and join the party.

If you haven’t been watching, you probably wouldn’t know we’ve been streaming quite a bit of the newly released MOBA Paragon by Epic Games. Having thrown a whopping $100 USD when it was announced to help support the game’s development, and to just show interest in it, Paragon has been capturing a soft spot in the hearts of fans. As part of the games ongoing search to keep a fresh roster while fixing the game itself, Epic Games has done great keeping new characters in the mix. As of recently, the studio has announced that Iggy & Scorch will be taking to the battlefield and tearing players apart soon.

We’ve seen some amazing matches and strategies in Paragon, and it’s time to shake it up again. We’d like to introduce you to our newest Hero(es) … Iggy & Scorch. Get your first look at the flame-wielding duo below. You’ll be able to play Iggy & Scorch as part of our update on Thursday, April 21.

Epic Games Prepares to Launch Paragon Early Access Monday

Paragon_SC01

MOBA’s as we all know have risen to popularity. A few years ago it was first person shooters galore, a few years before that it was RPG’s, and even a few years before that? It was a melting pot for indie games. Well that indie melting pot hasn’t ended, but what has ended is the fact that MOBA’s are no longer a PC exclusive territory, and console gamers as well as tablet gamers are getting to see their fare share of the genre itself.

With Paragon having been announced at the PlayStation Experience of 2015, the game has grabbed a lot of attention for its unique explosive action that has that special Epic Games touch. With MOBA’s being what they are, players can compete and win without spending money or you can throw out a little bit of cash and get the games Founder’s Pack(s) to start showing your support. As with any title, all heroes are free, and all of their cards can only be earned by playing the game. Yup, you read it first, you unlock characters by playing.

So what does this mean? PC and PlayStation 4 owners can buy the Founder’s Packs. These unique packs will be available starting March 14th with multiple tiers available starting at 19.99 USD all the way up to 99.99 USD. Each one comes with its own content that’ll be given to users. So lets take a look at the paid option tiers:

Founder’s Packs (19.99 USD): Includes access to closed beta, skins, boosts, and other cosmetic options for characters.

Challenger Packs (59.99 USD) | Master Packs (99.99 USD): will include a huge number of skins, unlockable items, boosts, a unique skin, and a Founder’s Pack to give to a friend. Right now the rest of the info regarding this is still in the air for those looking to play, but Epic Games has been great about keeping players informed.
