There’s no doubt about it: XSEED Games and Marvelous USA Inc., aren’t shy of the fact they can release some of the most amazing simulation RPGs on the market. Their previous release, Rune Factory 4, was no exception to this rule.

Now, they are preparing us for a new release with Rune Factory 5, which is set to release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on March 22nd, 2022. The new release will give fans a chance to dive back into the renowned simulation RPG franchise.

In the latest entry, you will once more return to your place in undertaking an all-new grand adventure within an astonishingly designed fantasy world. In Rune Factory V, you’ll find that your hero has awakened after losing their memory. In a small town, they are blessed by the world around them, rather, the nature of it around them.

The hero is then recruited into an organization of peacekeeping rangers known as SEED, and thus, their new life begins. Their daily life will include normal duties such as helping villagers, investigating rune-related mysteries, rounding up rowdy monsters, leisurely activities, and maybe finding love along the way.

Relationships in this title become even more prominent as they will foster bonds with the townsfolk around them, making friends, acquaintances, and even a family of their own, regardless of their gender with one of the game’s twelve candidates.
