ATLUS USA has revealed all-new editions of Shin Megami Tensei V for pre-order as well as an all-new trailer of the game. Get ready to explore the landscape of Da’at as we take a look at the latest reveal.
It’s almost time for fans to experience the ravaged wasteland of Da’at, a land that was once known as Tokyo. A land ravaged by an unforeseen apocalypse that has shaped it into something horrific, but something that will test the might, the will, and the very strength of the protagonist as he fights back against bloodthirsty demons.
The adventure of the protagonist starts as he is saved by a Nahobino, a being that is neither a human or a demon. A person that has unimaginable strength within them and can fight back against the demons if they so choose to do so. For those looking to jump in, ATLUS USA has revealed a few new key features for the game alongside an all-new trailer for the title.
These new features include an allusive story that makes sacrifices that players must make as well as their tragic choices matter as they pursue the light or covet the darkness within them to unfold the mystery of the world around them and to discover their role within this all-new world.
Along with the story being told, players will find themselves fighting back against enemies using the Press Turn Battle System. This system will allow players to pinpoint enemy weaknesses as well as performing consecutive actions based on the moves they make while in combat. Of course, this wouldn’t be a Shin Megami Tensei title without the ability to recruit allies without the negotiation feature.
However, there is one major new experience for fans entering the world of Shin Megami Tensei V. The new title will be using Unreal Engine 4 to bring it to life, giving it some of the most crisp, eye popping, and beautiful graphics the mainstay series has yet to offer on the Nintendo Switch.
For those looking to jump in and get some goodies, ATLUS USA and SEGA have also revealed a launch edition for the game, which will come in at $59.99 on November 12th ,2021, allowing fans to obtain an exclusive SteelBook version the game from participating retailers while supplies last. Retailers participating in it include Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. Just remember, supplies are limited.
