Warhammer: Chaosbane is headed to next-gen consoles

Warhammer: Chaosbane has been confirmed as a next-generation title and will ship with all previously released content packs and with performance upgrades including 4K resolution at 60FPS.

It’s official, Warhammer: Chaosbane (you can check out our review here)is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X|S in a surprise announcement from Eko Software and NACON. The two have revealed that the Slayer Edition will release with all previously released DLC packs (12 total), all current updates, including Keela and the Tower of Chaos.

Among the newly announced Jurgen Haider the Witch Hunter and additional other contents that will be available – the two have revealed the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S Slayer Edition will also run at 4K at 60FPS. The Slayer Edition will launch on each of the consoles respective release dates in each country as they release.

The latest next-gen trailer gives us a look at the Xbox Series X edition of the game, which will be available on Nov. 10th with the PS5 version shipping on Nov. 12th, 2020.

“The two hubs of Act 1 and Act 2 have been expanded. The area around the camp of Act 2 has also been enhanced with new enemies to fight. There is also a new area – the cemetery – which adds a new environment and a larger bestiary. This includes new enemies, including Daemon Princes, Skullcrushers (mounted and on foot), a Chaos Warrior, and new cultists,” explains an Eko Software spokesperson.

Players on current-gen consoles can experience the brand-new DLC Witch Hunter DLC today or through the Slayer Edition on next-gen hardware. The new patch is available and will see players get to enjoy the newly improved environments, new area, and expanded bestiary.
