Xbox Games With Gold for October 2020 revealed

Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users can expect to enjoy a few seasonal festivities while dressing up, exploring a world with a Sphinx, and of course, jumping straight into a scare-fest while exploring a terrifying and gruesome British hotel.

Just like PlayStation, Xbox isn’t holding back in offering some seasonally thrilling titles. However, Microsoft is doubling down on delivering Halloween and in quite the terrifying and silly ways.

First up comes the Xbox 360 titles including 2010’s Costume Quest and 2003’s sleeper title Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. Both titles will offer a range of excitement in October. Costume Quest will see players get into the thrill of things as they dress up the best they can, trick or treating to their heart’s content, and, well, trying to rescue their brother who was taken away by a monster.

Next up is Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, which for all intents and purposes, is a learned-hearted action title, which was resurrected recently on PC and in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch. The title will see players take on the role of Sphinx as they travel through the lands of Uruk in order to hunt down the legendary Blade of Osiris while accompanied by the cursed mummy of Tutankhamen of Luxor.

Costume Quest will be available from Oct. 16th, 2020, until Oct 31st, 2020, with Sphinx and the cursed Mummy running from Oct. 1st, 2020, until Oct. 15th, 2020. The upcoming titles might seem a little more vague to many of you readers unless you really love indie games.

First up is Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut followed by Maid of Sker. The prior will be available throughout the month of October with the latter being available from Oct. 16th until Nov. 15th. Just by their names, you can imagine that Maid of Sker and Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut will keep you busy, in the season, and probably having a blast during the month of October.
