XSEED Games and Nihon Falcom has revealed that Ys: Memories of Celceta will be launching on the PlayStation 4 this June alongside a special release edition of their game. Here’s what you need to know ahead of its launch.
Since its launch on the PlayStation Vita, Ys: Memories of Celceta will be making its debut on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles on June 9th, 2020, and will come with both digital and physical editions of the game that are available for pre-order at participating retailers.
The physical edition, “Timeless Adventurer Edition,” will come packaged with some collectible goodies for fans of the series to enjoy. These items include a special soundtrack CD that was previously only released in Japan called the “Ys 25th Anniversary Pack” as well as 12 4″x 6″ art cards that highlight the various female characters from the history of the Ys franchise.
The “Timeless Adventurer Edition” will launch at the price of $39.99 through the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers. This same edition will be available for $39.99 digitally or the digital base game for $29.99. The digital deluxe edition of the game will include the soundtrack CD in digital format. You can even obtain the official theme for the game that originally released in Japan as well.
To help fans prepare for the PlayStation 4 remaster, they can expect to enjoy 60FPS gameplay with Full HD visuals and gameplay that has been updated to work well with DualShock controllers as well as both English and Japanese voice options. Fans can also expect to enjoy the multi-character party system that has never-before landed on consoles up until now.
We will keep you up to date if anything changes between now and the June 9th, 2020, release date.
