Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen gets an official gameplay reveal

NIS America has revealed the first gameplay trailer for Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen in preparation for the game’s upcoming release. Fans of the SRPG series will have quite a bit to look forward to moving forward.

In a recent reveal, our pals at NIS America have given us the first big look at their upcoming title Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen, which includes the return to grid-based strategic encounters as well as abilities such as Forecast and Rewind. The ability to redo a turn you’ve ended up having things go badly during.

NIS has also revealed an “Origins Edition” will be available, alongside the game, which features a “Hymns for the Fallen” soundtrack alongside an “Archives of Yamayura” softcover art book for no extra charge. Of course, this version will release different from the Limited Edition, which is no longer available.

 

Fans of the Utawarerumono series can expect Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen to launch on May 29th, 2020 for PlayStation and as a digital-only release on the PlayStation Vita.
