Samurai Shodown shows off Mina and Sogetsu for Season Pass 2


Samurai Shodown from SNK CORPORATION is preparing for its second year after having been nominated for Best Fighting Game at The Game Awards 2019. Now, it’s preparing for Season Pass 2, which will introduce some familiar faces.

After a first successful year of release, SNK CORPORATION is preparing for another passive year with the upcoming release of Season Pass 2 for Samurai Shodown. The upcoming season pass, which will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, highlights upcoming characters including Mina, Sogetsu, and Iroha as part of the pass.

The Nintendo Switch version will ship with all previously released Season 1 fighters, which will launch on February 25th, 2020. The Season 2 Pass will be available when the game officially launches. The upcoming Season 2 will continue former traditions by introducing four fighters in total, the fourth and final being outlined at a later date.

Samurai Shodown is currently available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with an upcoming release for Nintendo Switch coming on February 25th, 2020.
