As the 2019 holiday season quickly approaches, Bandai Namco has confirmed that their free-to-play mobile title, Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare, is about to receive a massive new update as well as Black Friday deals on select in-game items.
In the official announcement today, Bandai Namco has confirmed that GUNDAM BATTLE: GUNPLA WARFARE will be receiving its Ver.1.2 update, which is set to release rather soon for both iOS and Android devices. The update will also usher in new PvP modes in the game including 3v3 PvP as well as 1v1 PvP to add variety to the current PvP system in the game.
The update will also usher in a new story chapter alongside a new free mission stage where players can farm parts from the original Gunpla “Code Φ (Phi),” which will launch side-by-side with the PvP content. Players will also be able to enjoy the Nu Gundam [Ver.Ka] for a limited time to help celebrate Gundam’s 40th anniversary. Nu Gundam will only be available from December 3rd through December 10th.
If you’re wanting to enjoy a bit of Gundam nostalgia, fans can head to participating theaters in order to enjoy a one-night screening event on December 5th, which will see Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack to be played in select theaters. You can check out the official event page for more information today: https://www.fathomevents.com/events/gundam-chars-counterattack
