Nintendo and Lunchables have powered up to bring special lunches to the schools

Nintendo and Lunchables are bringing Mario, Luigi, Pikachu, and friends to lunch near you starting this weekend. There’s also some awesomeness in store for My Nintendo users. Here are the details.

Starting on September 1st, 2019, Nintendo fans can head to their nearest retailer in order to get their hands on specially-packaged LUNCHABLES that will be available through November 30th. The newly released packages will feature many of Nintendo’s famous characters from titles such as Yoshi’s Crafted WorldMario Kart 8 Deluxe, and even upcoming titles such as Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.

Along with these special packages, Nintendo has confirmed that each Nintendo-powered LUNCHABLES will include a My Nintendo code for Nintendo users to redeem. These codes can include a prize package or 100 Platinum Points to use through the My Nintendo service.

My Nintendo members can enjoy neat little promotions such as activity sheets, name tags, or other fun Nintendo-themed rewards while One grand prize will be given away each day – a total of 91 to be given away over the course of the next two months. Prizes include a Nintendo Switch system and a digital collection of 12 Nintendo Switch titles including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo has confirmed hundreds of astonishing and valuable prize packs will be available for Nintendo fans to obtain. These prize packs can include and aren’t limited to a Nintendo Switch and the choice of two physical Nintendo Switch games, which will also be awarded during the period.

“We are always looking for ways to put smiles on the faces of fans of all ages,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Kids and parents already have an affinity for both Nintendo characters and LUNCHABLES, so it was natural for us to renew our partnership.”

Nintendo is already gearing up for some heavy hitters with Astral Chain arriving today, August 30th, 2019, which will join previously released smash-hit titles such as Yoshi’s Crafted WorldMario Kart 8 Deluxe, and even The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Nintendo is already gearing up for major hitters that will be joining them this fall including Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield launching on Nov. 15.

Fans can also prepare for the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on Sept. 20 and the ghostly and gooey Luigi’s Mansion 3 on Oct. 31, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
