During Gamescom 2019 last week, Nintendo revealed quite a bit about some upcoming indie titles, but they also showed off a bit more about the upcoming Galar region, which is inspired by the United Kingdom in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
The Galar region – is without a doubt – one of the best-looking regions that Pokémon fans will get to explore in the upcoming titles, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. To debut the brand-new content for the highly-anticipated title, game director Shigeru OHmori took us on a small tour through one of the town’s players will visit in the upcoming title.
In the video, which can be viewed down below, Ohmori-san is surrounded by plushes of some of the franchises most beloved Pokémon. During the tour, Ohmori-san begins to explore a brand new lab that series fans will visit, which includes a brand-new phenomenon called the Dynamaxing phenomenon.
The latest professor we will work with, Professor Magnolia, begins to explain it before the reveal shows off a train station, flying taxi services, and even other modes of transportation alongside a brand-new-look at the Pokémon Centers you’ll become acquainted with throughout your adventures.
Both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are set to release on Nov. 15th, 2019, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
