Starting on March 22nd through March 24th, World of Warships: Legends fans can prepare for a final beta weekend starting on March 22nd through March 24th. Here’s everything we know about the final upcoming battle before the official Early Access launch.
With over 200,000 battles have taken place over the last Closed Beta weekend, Wargaming has officially revealed they are preparing for one more go before their upcoming title heads into Early Access for those that dive into purchasing Founder’s Packs of the game.
The team has revealed that post-Closed Beta testing, they will release those Founder’s Packs for those looking to jump into the game with unique and exclusive in-game rewards for founding members of the game. Those who do partake in the upcoming Closed Beta weekend will be able to test out new content and features such as the British nation, 14 new ships, revamped lighting effects, as well as Russian and French language support options being available for international players.
Additionally, Wargaming has confirmed that anyone that registers on their site for the upcoming beta will be able to obtain a special “treasure trove of in-game rewards at launch”, which will include items such as boosters, Premium Currency, and even special customization items for their ships.
Registering at the official World of Warships: Legends website will also reward players with a treasure trove of in-game rewards at launch, including Premium Currency, Boosters, and special customization items when the game launches into early access on April 16th, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One along with support for both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X features such as HDR and 4K support (post-launch).
“We’ve worked tirelessly to bring the naval combat enjoyed by millions of players around the world on mobile and PC to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One,” said Daniil Volkov, Head of Development at Wargaming St. Petersburg. “We have introduced a substantial number of console-exclusive features to World of Warships: Legends, which we hope will add new dimensions to the series, whilst preserving the core gameplay that players know and love.”
As you can imagine, World of Warships: Legends is getting a similar treatment to that of World of Tanks: Mercenaries, which leads to the game being built from the ground-up with console gamers in mind. This includes features such as faster combat, more options to develop commanders, a console-friendly UI, console-friendly controls, and console-exclusive content that can only be experienced on consoles.
Stay tuned as we’ll keep you updated as we approach the games upcoming release for consoles. For those interested, you can register for the upcoming beta via the official WoWS: Legends site today.
