After a nearly day-long tease, Bethesda Game Studios has finally revealed the next title in the Fallout series. Fallout 76, which is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Let’s take a look at the full announcement and the trailer.
It almost seems odd, the name Fallout 76, which is a subtle nod to both Vault 76 and the year 1976. As the trailer begins, we are given a look at a heavily upgraded engine, one that steps up from Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. In the brief trailer, we’re given a look inside Vault 76, a nicely lit place, one that stands out from among its peers in the sense of decor, colored televisions and the traditional look of the vaults we’ve seen before.
The trailer is set to the theme of a cover of John Denver’s song “Take Me Home, Country Roads”. But only one thing’s certain. We know where we are from, but what we don’t know? Where we are at, where we are going, and what awaits us the moment those gigantic vault doors open.
Bethesda has revealed that Fallout 76 will get a full debut during their #BE3 event on June 10, 2018, at 6:30 PM PST during their Bethesda E3 Showcase. Stay tuned as we’ll keep you updated as we learn more information about the upcoming Fallout title.
