Taking place from August 9, 2018, until August 12, 2018, at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. Celebrating the 23rd year, Bethesda, id Software, and exhibitors have a weekend full of fun planned for those attending including possible upcoming game reveals, exclusive giveaways, and even some surprising announcements. Also, you can adopt puppies and dogs. Also, Swag. There will be Swag Bags.

Are you struggling to make some summer plans? Want to be where it gets hotter than Hell and the frags keep on coming? Then Dallas, Texas, will be the place to be from August 9, 2018, until August 12, 2018. With an expanded schedule that includes the returning QuakeCon keynote address, panels, new ticketing and registration options, a double sized BYOC area, and plenty more that has yet to be revealed, this year is going to be a massive 23rd annual QuakeCon event.

 

Returning for its second year in a row, the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center will serve as the annual home for QuakeCon’s weekend outing. But do note, something big has changed. QuakeCon will now run through Sunday, allowing for new announcements, reveals, and hours of fun. This includes the chance for attendee’s to watch some of the best Quake Champions players in the world to once again descend on Dallas to face-off live on-stage for up to $200,000 USD.

For those looking to register, Bethesda and the QuakeCon team have confirmed that registrations will be coming at a later date. Due to this, details for registration will be further out and details will be provided at a later date. However, they have provided us with some rather good news for those of you looking to attend!

Attendance will remain free as it has in previous years. This means anyone wishing to attend QuakeCon 2018 can, however, for those looking to attend in the BYOC will still need to pre-purchase a package (as options are listed below, showing what comes with them, and what you can expect. With the BYOC being twice as large this year compared to previous years, packages will be more available, but we don’t expect them to last long once available. However, the QuakeCon team and Bethesda do want you to know the following:

‘BYOC Select-a-Seat’ packages are still limited and all seats will be accounted for prior to the show, we want to remind everyone that there will not be seats available on-site for walk-ins.

This means one thing: if you want to attend the BYOC you may want to consider the seat reservations. But there’s some good news to all of this. During package registrations, you will have a chance to add a premium, limited edition swag bag to your purchase. This means all pre-orders will be taken for a limited time for $150.
