Plants vs. Zombies 2 Gets a PvP Mode called Battlez Mode

Today, EA Mobile and Popcap games have announced that their critically-acclaimed tower defense title, Plants vs. Zombies 2 has received its very first PvP mode called Battlez.

In this newly released mode, players will take on PvP in a unique way never-before-seen in the Plants vs. Zombies series. In this new mode, players will face down against hordes of zombies. Each player will be tasked with earning the most points in this fast-paced asynchronous battle.

Over the course of their matches, players will see themselves beat their opponents and work their way up the game’s leaderboards in order to show the world who is the best at Plants vs. Zombies 2. You can even check out a newly released trailer for the game’s new mode down below.

In Plants vs. Zombies 2, players will travel time and space to collect and create an army of horticultural hotshot plants in order to protect their house from the legions of hilarious invading zombies. With the new Battlez update, the grass gets even greener for both fans and newcomers to the Plants vs Zombies series, with hundreds of Plants to collect and Zombies to encounter across a variety of game modes, in-game events and regular updates.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 is available on the App Store for iOS and on Google Play for Android devices.
