It’s been just under a year since the last time we’d seen anything by Mad Catz appear on the shelves and in the inventories of retailers around the world. Most of it was simply because of a chapter 7 bankruptcy filing within the United States.
On March 30, 2017, the company had officially shut its doors and sold off all its assets. Just under a year later, the company has returned with a new business plan, some new hardware, and damn are they ready to trade some blows with companies such as LG, Corsair and Razer.
Today, we finally get a look at what the Chinese owned company is preparing for and just how they plan on taking the world by storm. To be blunt, these Transformer like devices are absolutely gorgeous. We’re getting to see entirely new versions of previously branded devices and even a reason for us to turn our heads and give the items a glance over.
During CES 2018, the company has announced that they will be releasing these products for purchase and will be showing them off to the media as well as attendees of the trade show itself. These new items include the revival of the extremely popular RAT mouse, the RAT Air, and even the new Strike 4 Keyboard accompanied by the Freq 4 gaming headset.
It must be good to be back and we can’t wait to get our hands on these devices later this year. Stay tuned for possible hardware reviews.
