If you are a JRPG lover there is a title that will stick out as one of the most beautifully animated RPG’s of all time thanks to its anime-like appeal, but also a Studio Ghibli like feel that made JRPG enthusiasts hearts melt. As of today, BANDAI NAMCO America has announced that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is in development by LEVEL-5 exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game will feature an all-new cast of once-more charming characters, a new storyline, and new innovative gameplay designs that will both delight as well as challenge fans of the previous title. Something Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch did very well.
“With its emotional storytelling, innovative gameplay, and breathtaking aesthetics, the original Ni no Kuni broke new ground in the RPG genre and became one of the most beloved and well-received games of 2013,” said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “With Ni no Kuni II: REVENANT KINGDOM, the artistic visionaries behind the first game are back to take their creative vision of a grand adventure to even higher heights that are sure to delight video game fans.”
It is safe to assume that the game will be targeting a mid-to-late 2016 launch if not early 2017. Stay here as we wait for more information in regards to the game.
