Announced recently for North America and Europe, Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight prepares to find itself on Nintendo 3DS handhelds in Europe as well in the not-so-far-away-future. For players looking to enjoy both the original version; Etrian Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lagaard, which released originally launched on Nintendo DS, players will once more get a chance to enjoy it with new graphics, new dungeon layouts, and even system improvements that were recently implemented in Etrian Odyssey Untold.

The story has been expanded in this version as players get to take on an entirely new story mode with a new fixed party, voice dialogue, and animated cutscenes that tell the bittersweet story of the Fafnir Knight and Princess Arianna while players adventure forth in the Ginnugagap Ruins and the Yggdrasil Labyrinthe with the hero Flavio, Bertrand and C starting on February 12th 2016 in Europe in both physical and digital format while North America will see an August 4th release date.
