This year, Ghost Games, an Electronic Arts studio, has announced that the franchise will be getting its first ever reboot. This time around, the game deliver what the fans are looking for and hungering for. The new customizations, locations, a nocturnal and lively word, but also a game that is more immersive than any Need for Speed to date. Welcome to the reboot, a game that will seek to redefine the Need for Speed franchise as we know it.
“Need for Speed is one of the most iconic names in gaming, and we’re returning it to greatness in this reboot,” said Marcus Nilsson, Executive Producer at Ghost Games. “Pulling on our 20 years of history, and then taking a year out from releasing a game, we are making the game we’ve always wanted to. As the game seeks to give players an entirely new experience, Need for Speed will shoot for authenticity, customization, and even integrate the most authentic racing experiencing to date when it comes to underground racing. Working with Speedhunters gives EA and Ghost Games an inside to the research as well as development assistance they need to ensure the real-world authenticity of the game in order to reboot the series into one that fans will enjoy, discuss, and even find themselves nailed to.
