Patch 2.5 “Before the Fall” Releases on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

In preparation of the games first major expansion, Square Enix has announced that as of today, Patch 2.5 has launched to help players prepare for the upcoming expansion entitled HEAVENSWARD, which will launch this spring. Within the patch, players will be able to experience multiple new things, which will allow players to push their skill to the limits in order to see just how good they are and if they have what it takes to cut it for the raid.

Within this patch players will get to experience the final chapter of the games main storyline, which puts players whom have been playing for sometime at rest, but don’t hold your breath, there’s more and new storylines coming up within the game. Players will get to experience several new high-level dungeons, which includes The Keeper of the Lake, The Wanderer’s Palace (Hard) and Amdapor Keep (Hard). That’s not all though. For those whom have been undertaking the well renowned Crystal Tower raid series can now prepare for the raids conclusion with “The World of Darkness”. On Top of that, a new Odin trial is now available and will challenge eight players to defeat the elder primal. For those who want to adventure and complete the latest adventures of Hildibrand, the agent of enquiry, and the games inspector extraordinaire features the return of Gilgamesh on his ongoing questing for the strongest swords known to the realm. If none of those interest you, players who like to PVP will be able to enjoy the massive 72-Player PVP Frontline battle content.
