For fans who completed Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth and are wanting more won’t be waiting much longer for the next upcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive title. As of today, Idea Factory International have announced the release dates for both Europe and North America. The game is set to launch on January 27th for North America in both physical and digital formats and on February 11th for Europe in both physical and digital formats. Along side this news, Idea Factory International, has also announced that the title is a reimagining of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, which originally launched on PlayStation 3. The game will be featuring many new elements including story, battle system, voiced characters, playable characters, and even a refreshing new experience with the series. The game will also support the newly launched PlayStation TV.
Players will be able to enjoy the games story as they seek to save Gamindustri as it faces the worst crisis it ever has due to the ASIC or Arfoire Syndicate of International Crime. How do players go about stopping this? Romping through battlefields with up to four characters, but also adding in four more characters as support characters incase their partnered character gets knocked out into a weakened state. Some of these characters are even new that players will experience, such as The Oracles, which will be joining the lineup.
Tired of battlefields? Take an adventure through the games new Stella’s Dungeon and enjoy a bit of a new mini-game where you send Stella out to explore random dungeons. What does this mean? She may just find some awesome bits of loot for players to use on their characters. Players will also get to enjoy the new Active Animation System that makes the characters speak more fluidly during event scenes and even move more fluidly.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation will also allow players to find Plans in order to remake new dungeons, weaken them, strengthen the enemies in them, or even add new dungeons while changing the items in certain dungeons, and more. Players will also be able to craft their own Game Discs for characters to use, which will allow players to create discs by burning Idea Chips (abilities for those new to the series) onto Blank Discs, and even allow for a chance to create a Godly Game, which allows for an additional ability.
