Released as a roughly 2GB update, Code Vein’s update 1.11 brings with it some major quality of life improvements including improved performance and faster load times. Here’s everything we know.

In this week’s patch for the Bandai Namco title Code Vein, fans can expect their adventures to take a twist unlike any other. As part of their ongoing post-launch support, Bandai Namco has delivered another update to their critically-acclaimed title, which sees them enhancing upon performance, stability, and squashing a few minor bugs.

However, the biggest thing to take away? We’ve noticed rather large increases to performance, enough that the game runs even smoother than before, areas that once dipped in framerate on both PC and PlayStation 4, no longer do so. While the patch notes are slim, we do get an idea of what fixes have been implemented have improved performance, but also, squashed a few minor bugs.

You can check out the full patch notes down below:

  • Fixing a bug of which the guest gets an application error when the host changes partners at Mistle during multiplayer mode.
  • Fixing a bug of which certain entrances cannot be entered while activating “Gift “Final Journey”.
  • Fixing a bug of which the screen is to stay blacked out after the following scenes: Black out scene in memory echo “Louis’ memory” and Black out scene in memory echo “Miguel’s memory”.
  • Minor bug fixes.

While the patch notes are relatively small, we can still place hope in the fact that these performance fixes are only among a few of the small quality of life features Bandai Namco has planned. Currently, we have no word on when to expect any of the DLC to launch as it is quite possible that the post-launch DLC is still in development and announcements should be coming (we hope) soon.
