Microsoft has revealed that Halo: Reach is finally coming to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection starting December 3rd alongside the formal launch of the PC version. Here’s everything you need to know.

Earlier this year Microsoft and 343 Studios revealed that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be arriving on PC. Since the formal announcement, Halo Insiders have been hard at work beta testing Halo: Reach on PC.

After strenuous tests, getting the game so that it feels just right, this includes modifications to the field of view sliders, enhancements to how the game(s) feel with a mouse and keyboard, Halo: Reach has been given the seal of approval, allowing fans to prepare  for their endeavors on PC this winter.

While Microsoft has been taking time to ensure the best experience possible, they will not be releasing the entire collection all at once for PC users. Both publisher and developer have confirmed that Halo: Reach will be the first installment in the franchise to make its way to PC with others to follow shortly after.

However, it looks like Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be getting an Xbox Play Anywhere availability, meaning if you own the digital version on Xbox, you could very well have the collection for free-of-charge on PC (DLC such as Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach to be sold separately for $9.99 each).

Those with Xbox Game Pass, no need to worry, this will be included as part of your subscription plan. Stay tuned as we’ll keep you up-to-date as we approach the official PC launch. Also stay tuned for our upcoming review of the PC version of Halo: Reach.
