Hot on the heels of their smash-hit title Dead by Daylight success, Behaviour Interactive has announced a relaunch of their cat-and-mouse survival title Deathgarden: BLOODHARVEST, starting with a Free Weekend on Steam.

Starting today, Behaviour Interactive, the team behind horror-themed one-versus-four title Dead by Daylight has revealed that their title Deathgarden: BLOODHARVEST has officially been relaunched on PC via Steam. The team has revealed a free weekend has launched for the title, allowing fans to jump in and give this new twist on survival a start before they purchase the game.

For those wanting to know more about the title, Deathgarden: BLOODHARVEST is a race against time as players are put into a twisted trial of violence that will ensue within the arenas known as Deathgardens. In these trials, teams of scavengers are set forth running for their lives as they attempt to escape a life of rot and decay by proving themselves worthy to the Enclave.

On the opposite end, a Hunter will enter the fray, attempting to take out each of the Scavengers before they can make their escape from the arena. To give us a better idea of the game, Behaviour Interactive has provided us with a list of features you can expect including their new approach to design choices, gameplay elements, and player progression. You can check out that list down below:

Focus on Power-up Progression

  • Five brand-new scavengers and three new hunter characters, each with their own unique loadouts, progression, and background story
  • All playstyles are viable as every in-game action now rewards XP and resources
  • Progression designed to encourage and reward trying out different playstyles

Frantic Brutal Gameplay

  • Track and gun down scavengers in first-person as a ruthless hunter. Scavenge for blood and escape in third-person with fast-paced parkour and stealth abilities as a scavenger
  • Five scavengers vying to survive while stalked by an unstoppable hunter
  • A procedural map system, featuring four new Deathgardens that challenges players to adapt to an ever-changing environment

As part of the relaunch of the title in Early Access via Steam, Behaviour Interactive has revealed that there will be a two-for-one sale for Deathgarden: BLOODHARVEST at $9.99 USD before jumping back up to $14.99 next week. Those who purchase the game during its original Early Access period will be getting a nice few incentives for doing so such as two Legacy Cosmetic items, a VIP flair, and a transfer of all earned cosmetics with a bonus currency based on their original level from the games original release.

Those who also purchase the game during its newly relaunched Early Access week (May 30th, 2019, through June 6th, 2019) will receive a free extra copy of the game to give to a friend as well. Not a bad deal! The team has also revealed an Early Adopter compensation plan, which can be read about here on the official Deathgarden: BLOODHARVEST site.

  1. I highly recommend this game! I played it during beta and a lot today with the relaunch. It’s very solid with tons of content lined up to release for it. It’s kind of like Dead By Daylight but it’s more of an action game where DBD is suspense and strategy. You can see the design overlap but they do very different things. Both are lots of fun with friends in voice chat!

    • I just got done with a long session of it! It’s defintiely a blast and I love the formatting used. It takes a lot of what I love about Dead by Daylight and definitely cranks it up to a 100. I can’t wait to stream and share more of it tomorrow night! It’s such a dang good experience.
