Here’s the first set of NES Games with a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription

Nintendo Online’s subscription service has just gone live with the Nintendo Switch’s update 6.00 and so has the Nintendo Online app that lets you play some retro classics online, offline, and with a friend in local coop. Want to know the list? Here’s a definitive look at the games you can play.

With the official launch of the Nintendo Switch Online service, fans around the world are preparing to see what retro games they can get their hands on as a part of their membership. As a separate download in its own, the Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online app gives you the ability to access a plethora of games in its initial release.

As part of the release, fans can take to twenty different games ranging from The Legend of Zelda to the original NES release of Yoshi, but why stop there? As of now, you can officially take a look at the definitive list of currently available NES classics and if you can play them in single or multiplayer (both online and off) modes.

Nintendo has confirmed these twenty games are only the first of many more to come in the future as they will be making slight changes to some of the more classic titles to include online and same-couch multiplayer.

While Nintendo hasn’t given us a time frame, we do have an idea that more games are in the works and that we should expect to see them launch in the upcoming months. For now, you have plenty of games to enjoy and keep you busy when you aren’t taking to playing games with your new online membership.
