The critically acclaimed cooperative game, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass. The game sees four players team up as astonishingly powerful characters during the End Times of the Warhammer universe and work together in order to attempt stopping the end of all life as we know it.
As of today, fans of the Warhammer Fantasy universe can rejoice as indie developer Fatshark has announced that their million-copy selling title Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass. In our review, we proclaimed that this is one of the best coop-focused horde titles on the market and that “The challenge is real, it’s unforgiving, and it’s absolutely hard for beginners.”
Since its launch, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 provide it is a difficult, but astonishing game that with practice, comes perfection and an ability to overcome even the most difficult odds. In a statement about the launch, Martin Wahlund, the CEO of Fatshark states, “We are excited to bring Vermintide 2 to the Xbox community. We are looking forward to take on Skaven and Chaos with the console gamers.”
As part of the launch of their game, Fatshark has confirmed that two versions of the game will be available for both $29.99 USD and $39.99 USD. The prior being a standard edition of the game while the second being a Premium Edition of Warhammer: Vermintide 2.
Those that opt for the latter will receive the following items:

- Helmgart Heraldry Themed Skins
- Premium Edition Portrait Frame
- 3x Exclusive Heroic Deeds
- Mixer Integration – besides playing the game with three heroes, you can also get support – or not – from the Mixer audience when you stream. The Mixer integration makes it possible for viewers to participate in the game, where they can vote on what’s coming next, and more.
Additionally, those wishing to try out the game before they purchase it can download the Standard Edition of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 via Xbox Game Pass today and upgrade to Warhammer: Vermintide 2 if they wish.
