As part of our ongoing coverage of the upcoming title Pillars of Eternity II: Dreadfire, which we previewed earlier this year. Today, Obsidian Entertainment and publisher Versus Evil have revealed their new ‘FEatures’ trailer for the upcoming title, which is set to launch on May 8, 2018, for PC Mac and Linux.

With having missed its original release date, which was supposed to take place on April 3, 2018, Pillars of Eternity II: Dreadfire is now set to launch at the aforementioned May 8, 2018, release date. With a little over a month away from its launch, Obsidian Entertainment has been hard at work refining the game, hammering out any bugs, and enhancing the overall experience.

Even in our beta preview, we did note that even with it being a couple of hours long, “the game itself is only a small slice of what potential the game has to show. In short, this game already has shown great potential from the previous title and even continually shows the insurmountable love the developers have within their games. Each system from the character creation to combat themselves are intricately designed, everything feels as if it has meaning clear down from player classes to their skills being made.

Pillars of Eternity II: Dreadfire is now available for pre-order via Steam. Stay tuned for our review.
