The Internet is Responding to Nintendo Labo and Hilarity Ensues

The Nintendo Switch has been the slumbering giant that Nintendo needed to awaken. Since its launch, the Nintendo Switch has been highly successful, the games for it have been a constant stream that has yet to slow. On top of that Nintendo’s Mini-Direct was pure gold and sent fans into a frenzy the moment the steady flow of upcoming games was announced.

However, it seems Nintendo may have a few jokes up their sleeves even though they are serious about their latest Nintendo Switch addon made of cardboard. No. I’m serious. Nintendo Labo is a cardboard project in order to enhance the user experience with the Nintendo Switch, but the irony here is simple: Labo has become one of the biggest memes of the decade and it doesn’t seem Nintendo is going to live it down.

In response to Nintendo Labo’s announcement, Twitter users have been having a blast with showing off their memes, creations, and ideas. Lucky for us, the steady flow of content is never ending even though fans are applauding Nintendo’s choice to use cardboard. That stuff that cats love. That cats like and ultimately, cats tend to destroy.

Lucky for us, Mike Drucker, the writer for Full Frontal with Samantha Bee doesn’t let it down, instead, he brings his A-game and delivers pure comedic gold in how adult gamers could very well be seeing Nintendo Labo. However, adults themselves are having a blast and some of them are already locked and loaded to take out some of Hell’s forces with DOOM on Nintendo Switch.

Who needs VR when you have Nintendo Labo? ComicBook Now seems to have the answer as well.

Of course, we can’t forget, the cardboard war will ensue.

If you’re the eSports Newbee, you already know the dangers that await the Switch and you’re waiting for the first cat-tastrophe to be announced.

Of course, there’s always someone looking for a way to make some musical gold out of Nintendo’s new and wacky experiment.

And then there’s always that one cat that is more hyped than we are.

Then there’s always that one guy. That one person that’s ready to show off their Dark Souls skills on Nintendo Switch.

Last, but not least, we do need Big Boss and Snakes approval before this can even happen. So do they approve? Of course they do.

Of course. Nothing’s complete without a little Virtual Console fun. Right ladies and gents? Right… Yea I’ll stop there.

Of course, nothing’s pure gold unless you have a developer chiming in.

And then there’s… Literally taking VR to another level.

And.. Well… Someone had to have an uh…  Tony Stark approve it, amirite? I’m right, aren’t I?

Last, but not least. Let’s send it off with this one.

Whether we are excited about it or not, Nintendo isn’t done trying to innovate interactive media. Instead, they’re ready to try and bridge the gap, they’re ready to ensure that everyone of all ages and all hobbies have something to enjoy. Whether the Nintendo Labo project can actually carry through with this attempt, is yet to be known, but for what it’s worth – the internet’s reactions are pure gold.
