If one were to head over to the official Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Steam page, you’ll find very limited details, which describe the games setting in a brief few words: “Equipped with a variety of melee and ranged weapons, you and your team are all that stands between utter defeat and victory—and if you fall so will the Empire.”

Since Fatshark is revisiting some familiar places, we can only wonder what the story of the game is, and what exactly will be new in the sequel. According to what we can see, the Steam store page has set up the possibility that the game will take place in all knew locales and could quite easily see some new classes coming out to play.

Stay tuned for the “worldwide reveal,” which is set to premier on October 17th, 2017. The game currently has a TBD release date, leaving us all to wonder what the future of the game will be.
