Since E3 2017, Bandai Namco has been releasing a steady stream of information about their upcoming Dark Souls meets vampire game Code Vein. The publisher, has since even managed to give us a sneak peek at the game with a few new screenshots. These screenshots give us a look at some of the games residents within the Vein.
For those unfamiliar with Code Vein, the game is set in a dystopian style world where the lands have become populated by aggressive enemies and monstrosities that serve as bosses within the title. In the game, players will take on the role of a Revenant, a vampiric race within Code Vein who have been imbued with “gifts of power,” but at the cost of their memories. In the game, players will select one companion from the Vein itself, a hidden society deep within the Revenant world. With the combined powers of the Revenant and companion, players will set out to explore the world and rid it of those who have taken over.
The screenshots include two characters Mia Karnstein, a wandering Revenant who fights from a distance with her bayonet-style weapon and Yakumo. A man that is described as faithful and loved by others due to his cool and professional composure during combat. Take a peek at what the game has to offer in the upcoming days.
