Dark Souls III Collector’s Edition Announced by Bandai Namco

If you are one to collect items when you aren’t sneaking through dungeons that await your demise, you might be one of those awaiting to put the latest and rarest of items on your shelves. If you’re like me, that means you are eyeballing the latest one, which pertains to Dark Souls III. Announced today by Bandai Namco, Dark Souls III will feature two versions of the game when it launches: The Day One Edition and the Collector’s Edition. Both are carefully crafted by famed Japanese developer FROMSOFTWARE (Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne and Armored Core). Coming to consoles on April 12, 2016, Dark Souls III will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

For those wondering what goodies come in the editions lets take a look at the Day One Edition, which will be priced at a MSRP of 59.99 USD. With this version they will obtain the game, Prima Starter Guide, Official Dark Souls III Soundtrack, and Exclusive O-Sleeve Packaging.

For those looking to slay their inner demon who wants the Collector’s Edition, fans can be prepared to shell out an MSRP of 129.99 USD. This version will feature the same as the Day One Edition, but will include an official art book, cloth game map, 10” Red Knight Statue and a collector’s box to make it look perfect sitting next to your Dark Souls II Collector’s Edition

The DARK SOULS III Day One Edition and Collector’s Edition are exclusive to the PlayStation 4 system and XBOX ONE versions of the game and will be available at participating retailers while supplies last. Stay tuned for our pending review of the game once it becomes available.

    • It’s honestly a beautiful Collector’s Edition. It looks to have quite a bit of detail compared to the Dark Souls II version. Definitely going to try and attempt an unboxing if we can.
