If you haven’t already know, Magic the Gathering has received a new expansion set known as “Battle for Zendikar”, which invites more than 20 million Magic: The Gathering players to once more setup and prepare to build their new decks as they return to the fan favored plane of Zenidkar. In this set players will once more see the return of teams that are filled with elves, vampires, and even humans as their ranks struggle against the Alien threat only known as the Eldrazi.
This expansion welcomes back some of Magic’s most iconic hero Planeswalkers, Zendikari people, and even the lands themselves as they seek to battle off the invasive enemy forces. As players seek to build their forces with these cards, Wizards of the Coast has announced that certain packs of the Battle for Zendikar set will now include very rare versions of some of Magic’s most well-known cards. Called the Zenikdar Expeditions, these cards will feature beautiful foil art of Zendikari landscapes.

I myself have actually been watching for Zendikar as I personally loved the original bit of it. Really hoping to see that flare return with this expansion returning to the said setting.
I never got to experience the original Zendikar as I began playing around Return to Ravnica, but I’ve heard a lot of things similar to what you said, so I am very exited to play this set!
