With the long awaited success of Yakuza as a franchise, Yakuza 5 has formally been announced during the PlayStation Experience Keynote Address in Las Vegas this past weekend. Within the Ley Note, it has been announced that both Sega and Sony have been working together within the games development in order to bring forth an even more exciting story than before. The game will continue the epic story of Kazuma Kriryu (for those unfamiliar there is a lore heavy wiki available on him). Players will also get to venture through five of the major Japanese Cities that may or may not seem familiar to those whom have played the games before.

With the games announcement, a big push has also been made in the means of graphics; Yakuza 5 will be featuring an all new graphics engine than it did in previous titles. The graphics will seek to push more of an appealing look for those who have yet to enjoy the franchise, but also for those who are familiar with it. The game will also feature mini-games, a modified battle system as well as new and enhanced customizations as well as interactions in the bars players have come accustomed to visiting within the series. The game will also introduce new stories and drama filled occurrences than before.

Yakuza 5 will launch in 2015 on PlayStation®Network for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. For those wanting a PlayStation 4 entry, your wait is still there so hold tight!
